Our Story
From frustration to innovation
Austial was founded in 2024 by Aayush Solanki, a software engineer who experienced firsthand how fragmented tooling slows engineering teams down. Existing project management platforms were either too rigid for complex agile workflows or so complicated that teams spent more time configuring them than shipping products. Austial was built to solve that problem: a single AI-powered platform that combines Kanban and Scrum boards, sprint planning, real-time collaboration, and integrated AI chatbot solutions in one intuitive interface. Based in Ahmedabad, India, Austial now serves teams across more than 50 countries, helping them reduce meeting overhead, automate status updates, and make data-driven decisions with AI-generated project insights. The platform is free to start and scales with your team.
The Problem We Saw
In 2022, our founder Aayush Solanki were leading engineering teams at different companies. They both faced the same challenge: existing project management tools were either too simple for complex workflows or too complex for teams to adopt.
Teams were spending more time managing their tools than actually building products. Communication was scattered across multiple platforms, and valuable insights were buried in data that was hard to access.
That's when they decided to build something different—a platform that would be powerful enough for enterprise teams yet intuitive enough for any team member to master in minutes.
